Former Prime Minister of Canada Brian Mulroney To Join Acreage Holdings’ Public Board of Directors

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --  Acreage Holdings (“Acreage”), one of the United States’ largest vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operators, announced as part of its pending Canadian public transaction that former Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney, will be offered a seat on the Board of Directors upon the close of the transaction in November. Upon the close of the transaction, Acreage will become a Canadian public company domiciled in British Columbia and publicly traded on the Canadian Stock Exchange (CSE). Upon acceptance, he would join former Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner, former Governor of Massachusetts William Weld, former Chairman and CEO of tw telecom (formerly Time Warner Telecom) Larissa Herda, and former IBM Chief Financial Officer Douglas Maine, on the public Acreage Board.
